The provenance data are conclusive.
Opmerkingen: 
After the war, the van Zuijlen van Nijevelt family was given the opportunity to buy the painting back. However, the family did not make use of this opportunity. In a letter to Bureau Hergo dated 10 February 1953 lawyer J.H. de Brauw wrote: ' that the payment of Fl. 80,000 to the State did not take place so that the return of the painting to the van Zuylen party stated in Article 1 can be considered dissolved.'
