The provenance data are inconclusive. It is not known for whom G. Cramer art dealers purchased this painting.
Opmerkingen:On 21 April 1950 Cramer wrote to the SNK: ‘The paintings: Tischbein and two (not two pairs) Amigoni were privately owned by Germans before the war. I sold these paintings for a lady who had gone into hiding, alongside a painting by Verburgh.’
